I didn't get much experience with Melee, on account of I was pretty young and didn't have access to it much. I remember using Mario, then subsequently Dr. Mario, though.
Nice! I mained as Samus for awhile before I got sick of her floatiness, then moved to Fox. I'm thinking my Fox skills are slowly improving, and I'm learning more advanced techniques as I go. Anyone else here main as Fox?
@JumpMad Do you main as Mewtwo? If so, I commend you, because it's difficult to find a good Mewtwo player for obvious reasons. He's not the best character in the game.

man oh man, if i had to summarize my life from the ages of 7-12 in one word, it would be MELEE!!! i remember i was so proud when i finally reached 5000 KOs in the game! but then my cousin deleted my file.... that sucks... before Brawl came out and changed my playstyle, i was great at this game! i could use multiple characters to beat Event 51. i still play it every once in the while, mainly to mess around with master hand I use the Ice Climbers.

I just learned that Falco rapes at Jungle Japes. Use his Dair and you're unstoppable.
Also, here's a cool fight against Kage and Mango; two of my favorite Melee fighters. It would've been an awesomely awesome battle if Mango hadn't ragequit. [youtube:oLHbdM0tRG8&feature=related]

I'm also decent as either Mario (or Dr.Mario) and Link (or Young Link), but I'm defnitely best as Samus. Link is interesting in that he can be either ranged or close combat, depending on your fighting style.
I could destroy you all with Fox....Too bad the online is laggy as hell and basically makes the game practically unplayable.

Anyway, I've been currently working on fixing up my strategy with Falco and I must say that he's one of my best characters. I'm still working on my wavedash-to-edgehog strategy, but I will have it mastered soon enough. Also, note to self, don't get caught on the edge of the stage with Marth or Roy due to their incredible edgeguarding abilities. Once you go off the edge it'd take a miracle to get back.

Also, I've been training up some with Falco (still), and no matter what guide I read; I can't beat Marth. I read Mogwai's Falco guide, and everything, but it just didn't help me. I've tried all I can with fixing my Falco skillset to match other people's abilities with Marth, but I just can't. Marth and Roy destroy my Falco.
I'm thinking of switching my skillset up so that when someone goes against me with Marth, I either main as Samus or copy with Marth or Roy. It'd definitely help me since my Falco vs. Marth skills are fail.
Anyone know some really good matchups against Marth?

Ragequit? You can only do that if your playing online....
And I think I happen to know Mongo, he also plays Tatsunoko vs Capcom online, and He also RQ in that too......

I still can't believe I beat event 51 in about a minute and a half with Ness. What can I say, the turtle has skills. @TLG dangit, you beat me too it! You gotta love the wombo combo.
