Topic: Some Love for Wario.

Wario to me is the most unique character compared to Mario. His personality is expressed more than Mario's, his abilities are awesome and his voice is my personal favorite.

Right now I'm completing Wario Land 3 100% and I have yet to get Shake It so once I get 100% in Wario Land 3, I can say which Wario Land I enjoyed and is my favorite at best.

If you played the Wario Land series, post your thoughts on the games here if you can.

I like real Wario games, not the mini-game nonsense.

I will absolutely not give any love to Wario, no matter how much he paid me.

Yeah, screw one of the most creative game ideas of the past decade, we need a new 2d platformer. Nintendo could sure use another one...

...actually to be fair, Nintendo doesn't need another minigame game at all...I may have to rethink this flawless comment.

I've only played Wario Land 1 and 4. Both are a lot of fun, especially 4 because pretty much each stage has it's own gimmick that makes it a lot of fun.

Wario Land 4 is the best, with the 1st in second, and Shake It in last. All are great, but those are my three favorites. Keep in mind I've yet to play VB Wario Land.

Shake it in last? You're dead to me.
3 is by far the worst. Shake it is one of the most amazing 2D platformers i've ever played, surpassing 4 which at the core was a watered down version of 2 & 3 designed for newcomers without any real challenge in sight. It looked great though, controlled well and the bosses were fabtastic. But Shake it? man, those guys at GoodFeel are godly, Shake it beats the pants off of every wario land game in the franchise combined, with the exception of the original since it's more of a straightforward 2D Sidescroller rather than what became of the Wario Land series with WL2. Anyhoo, Those Motion tilt based controls in Shake it were so exciting to use, i loved the Wario Boxing wheelie cart against the 2nd Boss and the UFO especially.

The Soundtrack was pretty solid as well and was chalk full of variety with some stunning work which had a lot of heart imo, the visuals were drop dead gorgeous and the platforming was perfection....When you try and complete all of the objectives you'll realize just how intricate and fine tuned it really is, rather than just plowing through the game.

Don't make me regret that I missed getting Shake it..........

We need a WarioWare game for the 3DS, dang it.

And a new Wario Land game for 3DS or Wii U would be great, too.

Also, Wario Land 4 is awesome. Best game in the Wario Land series, and it also has a great soundtrack.

As for WarioWare, I liked the GBA one the most, with the DS one (Touched) being my 2nd favorite. D.I.Y. was good too, even though I only messed around with it for about a month. I'd share the microgames I made (some of which are based on Sega games), but unfortunately that's impossible. I loved the soundtrack of the GBA WarioWare as well.

With the exception of Shake it, I pretty much have played the Wario series and I'm gonna top it down

1.Wario Land 2
2.Wario Land 4
3.Wario World
4.Wario Land
5.Wario Land 3
6.WarioWare inc for GCN
7.Master of Disguise

I don't get why Master of Disguise is bad by many....I thought it was fun especially the humor.
I've still yet to get shake it. Damm it! I wanna play that game no matter what.....XD

As for Land 3, I had a great time with it. Only thing is that the ending isn't different when completing 100% and there isn't much to do except time attack.

You can get it for dirt cheap! Don't miss out on this golden platformer, it's better than that oh so overrated NSMB.Wii.

Not for me it isn't. I'm from India so getting stuff from there isn't easy since my dad goes abroad and that it isn't even avaliable at the stores in dubai anymore and I have the pal version of Wii instead. Damm it I don't even want to use emulators for this particular feeling of mine.....

The Wario Land series is freaking awesome. Loved the first game, loved Wario Land 4, loved Wario Land 2 and at least like Shake Dimension. Just a pity Nintendo seems to completely forgotten about its existence and no fan communities for the series even exist online.

Also, I still have to say Wario Land 4's soundtrack is one of my favourite video game soundtracks of all time. I mean damn, it's probably better than at least any 2D Mario game's soundtrack, and only a tiny bit worse than the soundtracks in the first two Donkey Kong Country games. Pity it gets overlooked along with the rest of the series.

You know what...I'll just wait for a good time to get shake it. I mean I have waited so long to get land 3 so I might as well do the same for this one as well.

Its funny that Nintendo just isn't making a new Wario game at this point, infact I wonder if he'll even show up in the next smash.......

I must say...VB Warioland is absolutely fantastic though short lived. It may well be my favorite game in this series, but Warioland 1 puts up a strong fight.

I wish that Shake it will be a port for 3DS. They did it for DKCR so why not this one????

Ok guys a quick question here, Why is Wario's voice slightly pitched lower when he comes in Mario games and when in games like Wario Land 4, World or Master of Disguise, he has a higher pitched voice? Is it because Martinet has some vocal problems or something? I'd like to know this fact.
