Does anybody know when Walmart usually sets things like this out for sale in store? Will they be available right at midnight, or do they wait for 8 or 10 or something like that? I was able to get an NES one by just walking into my store and asking one day and they have had many Switches in stock, so I don't anticipate having too much trouble finding one, but I would like to make it as easy as possible and get one as quick as possible (although I am not going at midnight).
At the least StarFox seems to be running at the correct speed from that video. That was a worry since many emulators run the game much faster than it's supposed to.
Also worth noting is that video suggests Yoshi's Island will be 1.1, whatever was changed from 1.0 besides the font. (the US 1.0 version had a thinner font while 1.1 uses the thicker font which was also used in the PAL version)
@Mondoking Is one end of the cable Micro-USB and the other USB to go into a USB Port on a TV, plug adaptor, PC etc. Etc.?
The answer is yes btw.
However an actual NES power supply wont work, because again, direct current from a socket will be too much hence it goes via a USB port. And the end that goes into the system is micro usb.
All you need is the supplied micro USB cable, and something to plug it into. If you live in the US, it comes with an adaptor you plug the cable into
I'm trying to use a controller wirelessly. I have the 8bitdo NES Classic Receiver. My 8bitdo SF30 controller works, but it only registers as A and B like an NES controller. Same for Wii U Pro Controller. I updated the firmware too. It just isn't compatible.
And if I use the stock controller there's no way to reset to home menu without getting up and hitting reset. Wth...

Wouldn't have worked. It has to be programmed to recognize as the SNES buttons. Same deal I'm experiencing now. The 8bitdo NES receiver works with SNES controller, works with Joycon, works with Switch Pro, works with Wii U Pro... but all of them only perform 2 actions... A and B, like an NES.
Stupid 8bitdo. Why haven't they updated their wireless receiver for the launch of SNES Mini?

Alright! Found a way to get a wireless controller working. And right now this is the only method to use a wireless controller for SNES Mini, seeing as the Nyko MiniBoss and My Arcade Super Gamepad are both yet to be released. And the Hori Fighting Commander (but I don't even consider that one because it doesn't have Home menu access which is a complete dealbreaker).
Anyways, you have to use firmware 1.05_beta0 for the NES wireless receiver. It only works with Wii U Pro Controller- nothing else, but it works 100%. All 6 buttons are recognized, even the analogs work as a Dpad if you so desire. I unsynced my 2nd Wii U Pro from my Wii U so it doesn't turn it on when I hit power. This is awesome. Home button takes you to the home menu too! 80 hour battery life. BOOM
