Alien Syndrome is correct. It was developed by Sega just like the two games @Santa posted. I was always intrigued that this game was ported to the Famicom.

Strange that someone else ported a Sega game to a rival console (the NES) more closely than Sega's own console (the Master System).
Although I think I read both console ports were actually developed by the same company (SIMS, was it?), even though the NES version was published by Sunsoft in Japan and Tengen in the US, and the SMS version published by Sega themselves, of course.

The only star trek game I've played was on the gameboy and am not familiar with any other one. Does nobody want to make an attempt at guessing this?
