Topic: Retro Game Stores in England?

I was hoping that people could tell me where they get retro games here in England, as I am hoping to start a collection. I see all these people on YouTube in America find games everywhere, but here I barely find anything. Maybe it's just because of where I live (there's definitely not much here), but I would be interested to learn where anyone finds their retro games.

It doesn't really matter where in England you live, it'd just be nice to know there are places out there.
Thanks

That's a shame, but it's what I've been noticing in the past few years. Even the Game stores are slowly shutting down, then again I don't go to them often because of their stunning lack of Nintendo games.

Independent game stores often sell retro games and you might get lucky in charity shops or car boot fairs. CEX sells games going back to the PS2 era. Apart from that ebay is probably your best bet. It's where I get most of my old games, but prices can be high depending on the rarity.

Thanks. I've looked in a few of those place with no luck, but i guess it's all about timing and luck. Sadly the CEX near me only sells Wii games but there is one in York (about 1 hour away from me) that sells gamecube games. I have yet to look at ebay as a place to buy games, mainly because i'm not sure how much i trust it, but i guess it's just a case of looking around.

Try on amazon, they have some games at resonable prices, and the occasional sillly priced games too.

There is Retro Game Base in London but it is annoying to get to. (Have to get a train from Victoria).

I haven't been in there since it was a Japanese import shop in the 90s but Raven Games in Beckenham does some retro stuff. It's tiny compared to Retro Game Base though.

I only posted this to get my avatar as the forum's thumbnail.

retrocollect.com is probably a good place for this since it is a UK based website.

If you're down my neck of the woods, PlayNation games in Croydon have a very good selection of retro!
