I think we need this on the Wii's Virtual Console; if all entirely possible?!
If not I still wish I had the game; since I had it for my SNES back then before it croaked!
Also I wish I could play it again; like a handheld port version... isn't there a GBA version or not?!

Based off old movie no one really cared too much about when it was new.
Don't think we'll get it, no.

I just watched the movie just yesterday; for ol time sake! Still love it oh so very much!

And somehow I wish I had the SNES game again; or a working SNES for that matter!

Why is there no port to this awesome game; someone tell me that?!

Yeah rented it when I was a kid. Hook was awesome if you was a kid like me back then. Now I want to watch the movie for old times sake.

Good for you; it's a classic & you'll still love it!

This was a great game. I never got bored of it. This and Super Mario World were my first two games for my SNES.

Hook is also my favorite John Williams soundtrack. Of course I used to be a much bigger fan of John Williams until I started studying music and I realized he literally steals directly from classical pieces. I'm not talking about coming close, or imitating styles. I mean, he will take a direct transcription of an obscure piece of music, note for note, in the same key, and call it his own.

I saw the Jungle Book SNES game at a local used video game store. Should I get it? It looks like Lion King, but with Mowgli instead of Simba. Pinocchio looks too cheery for my tastes, and Beauty & the Beast looks pointless. There's also a Toy Story game that I might like. While I liked Hook somewhat, I can't see me playing a game based on it.

Hey, when I was at my aunts house, she had that movie! What a coincidence.

I never played the Lion King, but The Jungle Book was a great game. But I'm convinced it's impossible to beat.

Oh, wow! What a coincidence!! That's the game I ordered from eBay yesterday, SNES version.

No, this game was never brought up to the GBA. And as for it actually coming to the Virtual Console, chances are very slim, because it was a title from Sony Imagesoft.

Only two to five more days of waiting. I'm intrigued!

I think this lovely thread needs to be bumped; for the glory days of those who loved good classic movie SNES game! Hook's infectious music & classic adventure platforming never gets old; & I still love watching the movie & playing the game on my classic Retro SNES/NES!
