The actual point (or i think was the point of this topic) was that he brought up a age-old video clarifiying that the Earthbound series would'nt be VC-bound due to copyright issues. The issue itself is nothing new, he's just preaching to the choir.
Was Mariobro4. No, I'm not taking off my backpack...it's important.

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
Cartridges tend to die after many years, but a digital download would make it a reliable source without stuff like dieing backup batterys and working, century old consoles.
Did the SNES turn 100 today or something? I must've missed the memo.

These copyright shanannigans are really hurting the preservation of old games. It really is a pity that they cant get teir stuff together and make the game available agin. I played my Sega Genesis in 2013.

Plenty of people have already played Earthbound, and Mother 3, or watched an LP. How many people will pay for something they've already played, unless it's 30 cents?

1. People played the emulator for free, so why bother paying again unless you're a hardcore Nintendo fan?
2. Oot3D and NSMB are from an IP that has a massive fanbase, casual and hardcore.

Same here. If you take care of your possessions, they have a tendency to stick around for years to come. Every cartridge I own still works...and for some of them it's been at least 20+ years.

@Aviator: It's actually psychological. People tend to really want something that they can't normally get. Take the "Operation Rainfall" trio of games. No one really raved about them until NoA decided not to localize them at first. Same thing happened with Mega Man Legends 3. There was relatively little attention on that game until it was canceled, and then all hell broke loose.
