Topic: Pelican Wii/GameCube Classic Controller Wont Work On Wii?

So a few years back my sis got a Pelican Wii/Gamecube Classic Controller and it worked fine with "Sonic Gems Collection" So when I played "Luigi's Mansion", it wont work. It's in the first controller port too. The "Turbo" light (I don't know what that does) can turn on just fine. But no button or controller input. Sorry if I asked this before.
