I bet most of you have heard of the near $100,000 bid for a NWC cart. The highest bidder has backed out claiming his 2 year old did it. Is anyone actually surprised? This thing is in bad condition and NWC Gold carts have sold for less! This does suck for the seller though. Now he's gonna have to deal with sorting the fake bidders out. Not to mention this is gonna jack up the price of NWC carts. Two sellers have very recently actually posted a NWC cart on eBay hoping to cash in.

Regardless, there are other bids similar to his ($99k or above)

Honestly if that is true that 2 year old is a genius.

I know right? It's kinda hard to believe though that a freaking 2 year old could do that.

when I was 2 years old I accidentally made a call to someone in the UK on the telephone and with 3 I already knew how to use a PC so, for me, this is believable.

Yeah, a two year old knew how to log in and put in the right amount...

puting the right ammount IS possible for a kid(kids like high numbers) but I didn't know the kid also logged in, yup it's a really bad lie.

Told you so. This cart is not worth 100K but a couple of thousand at most due to the condition. Too much publicity - it even made the frontpage of the BBC News website - brought out all the flakes and phonies.

just like the cardboard WiiU gamepad
at that condition I'd pay no more than the Price of a VC game

Sure, his two year old did it. The next time I forget to clear my browser history and someone borrows my computer I'm blaming my dog for what they find.

Well apparently I did completed Super Mario World when I was three years old according to my parents. I don't know if I should believe them but I do remember beating it at very young age. They are a lot more intelligence kids out there than you think and after all they are usually curious.

Umm… Care to have some gravy?

Either they are outright lying, or they don't know what they are talking about. Sorry for crushing your childhood. At three years old, it's not possible.

...oooor what if the guy just didn't log out? Or left the page open?

That's not hard to believe. Little kids love mashing buttons.

The bidder clearly made up a lie to back out.

It might be true. The bidder probably had his computer on looking at the site, and his kid probably typed it in.
