I don't know about you all, but I'm still nostalgic about my Gamecube.

How come that only has a couple hundred views? It's pretty high quality.

Self-advertising goes against the site's rules, but I'll admit this video was definitely one of the best. Instead, post it in this thread here or add a link to it in your signature.

The Sega Saturn, because of its failure and later Sega the great games on it are not remembered as well as they should be.

Rimmer: "Look, I think we've all got something to bring to this conversation, but I think that from now on the thing you should bring is silence."

Homer: "Oh people can come up with statistics to prove anything Kent. Forfty percent of all people know that."

Depends on how old it has to be to be called "retro" I guess? I see a couple people named Gamecube and Dreamcast, but I would hardly call 2 gens ago retro. Heck, I still have my Gamecube hooked up and I just bought a new controller for it. I don't "miss" it at all.

I would say SNES, but like 95% of the games I cared about are now on the Wii/Wii U VC, so I dunno if I miss that either. Maybe I just miss those summers as a kid in my basement with siblings playing Mario Kart.

Since I still have the NES, SNES covered and GBA too, technically I suppose the Gameboy(GB/GBC) 8bit handheld as it offered up so many insanely great games with variety from all sorts of genres, many the fools of this era snub and throw to the side. A period of gaming with small storage where design and gameplay commanded more than just audio and visuals as it really had to sell itself. If you're being so specific though about 'console' then Dreamcast, the only Sega system I ever bought new and deserved to be as the lineup on it is amazing.

I've kept most of my systems. I don't really miss anything because, you know, I live my own life and I can play whatever I want... you don't have to miss old games like they're unplayable today..

Dreamcast. I'm taking the question as longing for that era of games since I have a dreamcast still. I used to call it the "affordable NEO GEO" due to the arcade quality games it played. ....Still wish I had a Neo Geo though...

Dreamcast (Both normal Console games and Great Arcade ports and the PAL version was mostly 60hz).

(Not played enough Saturn yet or even bought the console - I have a few games that went below the import duty threshold).
