Topic: Original Gameboy Games: Region Specific?

Hey guys,

I'm looking at buying a few original game boy games, but was wondering whether they are region free like the DS and GBA. If someone could let me know, that would be awesome.

I know the EU versions of the Konami GB Classic series added GBC support, but did they remove the SGB enhancements (from the Japanese releases) in the process?
I tried on my NTSC SGB and if functions as a standard mono game.

PSP Game UMD's are also region free.

All handheld systems from Nintendo are region free, so is Sony's PSP.

The only restriction is in downloadable DSiWare titles.

I heard all DSi-exclusive games (DSiWare or retail) were region-locked.
