Topic: ONM UK Gameboy Advance SP Mario / Luigi console tops

Hey there guys,

Does anyone know where I can get my hands on the Mario clear red or Luigi clear green console tops/covers for the Gameboy Advance SP that were given away free with Nintendo Magazine UK in 2004? They look just like the top of the Mario Vs Donkey Kong Limited Edition machine's top lid being that the Mario one is red with an 'M' on it and Luigi is obviously green with 'L' on it... I'd really like them since I sold my console that had one on ages ago :/

you might just have to get a custom decal made. free giveaways in a magazine for 2004 have probably all been used, thrown away, or collected and lost.

@FourBs Yeah I know the covers you mean, they're really good aren't they! I've still got my Mario cover which looks rather splendid on my GBA SP (sadly I no longer have the Luigi one). I'd say there's a good chance you could find them on eBay, I remember it was the special 150th birthday issue of NOM that they came with so hopefully if you look for that issue you'll be able to find it complete with the covers. If you can't I'm sure it'll turn up eventually, a couple of years ago I got the 1st ever issue of the legendary N64 Magazine (March 1997) in mint condition with the free video that originally came with it which the seller said had never even been played!

@FourBs WOW. I just saw this post and I was clearing out some things in my room literally a few days ago when I found my green Luigi cover! I wasn't sure what to do with it but let me know if you're still interested and if you'll cover the postage I'll happily send it to you (I have the gold Zelda SP, I'm not sticking a cover on that ). I could stick it on ebay for the postage cost and send you the link or something - let me know!

Mine's @lindemannade surprisingly enough and sorting it out through DMs is probably the easiest way to go. Also I have the feeling the clips on my Mario one broke and I threw it out years ago, but I'll send it your way if I ever do find it!
