Hello....
I am an old-school NES fan, and I recently purchased an original grey box nintendo system.
However, I have run into a big problem...I do not have normal electricity. Instead, I run my home on a generator. The generator is hooked to a power conditioner (normally used for musical instruments), and this basically functions as my power box.
Anyway, whenever I put in a game and turn it on, everything is fine, but there is this horrible buzzing noise that doesnt stop. I hooked it up to my friends tv and there was no buzz, so I know its either my tv or my power setup or both.
I know this is an uncommon problem, but I could REALLY use some help here. Surely someone here has run an NES from a backup generator in the past?

You probably have bad or none earthing. Sometimes this can also be caused by interference between power cables and the AV cable. This may be solved by placing them farther apart and by using shielded AV cables.
