Topic: OK, a re-analysis of the OoT versions (couldn't find the original post)

Fire Temple
Original: hypnotizing
Later: creepy
Preference: later (more cinematic that way)

Mirror Shield
Original: Star and Crescent
Later: Gerudo Symbol
Preference: Later (makes sense since it is a Gerudo item)

the only reason I am allowing this thread to stand is because I can't find the original either. It was something about comparing the music in the versions of OoT, StarFox had tripped up and said the Mirror Shield wasn't in OoT, and I had already replied in there with a link to Zeldapedia regarding which version of OoT is likely the one on the VC.

I probably deleted it. I honestly swear I won't delete my posts ever again (unless it's a double post).

The Gerudo symbol was also changed.
Originally, the Gerudo symbol, symbol on all the blocks, and the symbol on the mirror shield were all the star and crescent.

I like the original versions; they make sense to me. It's a temple, and the world of Hyrule is a very spiritual place, so all the religious symbolism has its place.

Perhaps they could've used ancient mythology? That'd work, and it wouldn't risk offending anyone.
