My wife and I grew up in different countries and with different systems-- she grew up in the United States with mostly Nintendo consoles, and I grew up in New Zealand with a Commodore Amiga 500. We decided to introduce each other to all the games we played as kids, and to share our reactions as a YouTube channel called Octotiggy.
Our channel is only a couple of months old, but we post a video every day and we have a few video serieseses up already.
Also, to "celebrate" the US film release of Michael Bay's historical drama "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", we've started a series called TURTLEFEST!-- a whole month (and probably more) of Ninja Turtle games. We've started it off with a 4-part comparison of the NES and Amiga versions of the first, notoriously difficult TMNT game (both Ninja and Hero versions)! We're also working our way through the other TMNT games, like TMNT II: The Arcade Game.
We also have a couple newer games from Steam up (because we still love modern games too!).
If you want to check us out, just click on any of the games I've mentioned above-- they all link to the videos on our channel. Or check out our nifty intro video right here. It gives you an idea of some of the games coming up!

Where my friends and I usually get stupid:
https://www.twitch.tv/MUDWALLHOLLER - Come by hang and visit our Discord. The link for Discord is on the Twitch page.
Fair enough. It's not necessarily intended that way. I'm not much for link-dropping and being like "hurr durr check out our YouTube channel", as if there aren't already a stupid amount of channels out there already. Even if I was trying to do that just to squeeze out a few new views, it's not really a very effective way of capturing audience retention.
I am actually interested in talking about my experiences playing some of these games for the first time; just didn't want to clutter up the forum with "HOLY SH*T I JUST PLAYED DUCK TALES FOR THE FIRST TIME" threads, per se.
Sorry if it feels like an intrusion-- mods, feel free to delete if I'm messing up on the forum rules here!

We're glad you're having a great time, but please feel free to advertise your YouTube channel and any pertinent video(s) via your user signature and/or profile information. Thanks! :3
