Hi all, I have been searching for a game that I had played over a friends house as a kid that no one ever recognizes when I try to describe it. It reminds me a bit of Ghosts and Goblins in its theme of a little knight type guy with a spear, but he didn't throw it, you just kind of jumped into baddies with the spear and, if I recall, your armor was never knocked off so you wern't running around in a loin cloth. It seems to be a relativly vertical game, as there was plenty of platforming jumping godness twhile climbing the outside of an insidious looking mountain. Another notable feature was this little minigame where you dropped skulls down a pachinko esque board and if it landed in the cup you chose you would get an extra life or some prize. Does anyone know this game!? The more I think about it the more not knowing this game's name drives me nuts!

Thanks in advance!

Doesn't sound too familiar to me. What system was it on?

It was a good ole NES game. You know, Wizards & Warriors sounds very possible, I'll have to do some reaserch and check that out. Thank you, guys!

I think the Wizards & Warriors were by Rare? If so, that may cause difficulties in getting it on VC, but not impossible.

She-Ra is awesome. If you believe otherwise, you are clearly wrong.
Lindsey Stirling is as awesome as She-Ra. Perhaps even more so.

The game in question is actually Ironsword: Wizards and Warriors 2. The original didn't have the pachinko game.

And eh, they're all pretty crappy games. Seems like nostalgia is blinding you a bit, here.

I think i only played the first one back in the day; my friend bought it and loved it, i never really got into it, but seemed decent.
