I didn't know Nintendo made those licensed games!

After so long...I'm back. Don't ask why

These games were licensed games, but they were developed and published by Nintendo. I played them as a kid, and they do hold up pretty well. But I have only ever seen about 2 people besides myself mention the games AT ALL.

Mind=blown

Ham-ham Heartbreak is one of my favorite games ever, I've replayed (and re-bought) it so many times on both the GBA and DS. I had no idea Nintendo actually developed it and Ham Hams Unite. No wonder they were surprisingly decent/good games.

I've never played em, but the Famicom Detective Club games on NES are pretty unknown.

Also Mole Mania on the original Game Boy! It's a really fun Miyamoto games that needs more love.

Kaeru no tame ni kane wa naru - "For the Frog the Bell Tolls". Nintendo made action adventure starring a frog (who you can name). It is very Zelda-like and in fact the game's engine was used the following year to make Zeruda No Densetsu: Yume wo MIru Shima (The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening).

Sadly the frog-prince (or should I say frog-snake prince, since he can turn into a frog or a snake and needs to do so many times to complete the game) was never heard of again and the game was never translated. I am playing it right now (no dubious Roms - I got it from the Japanese eShop) and I would say that while it isn't up to Zelda/Final Fantasy standards is is one of the deeper and better adventures on the original Gameboy, with a quirky, funny storyline.

Geist, Endless Ocean....

If you want a massive list of games you never knew were published by Nintendo, go and look at Wiiware's Nintendo section.

I only posted this to get my avatar as the forum's thumbnail.

http://www.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&tl=en&... I think this is a Japanese-exclusive "Game Boy Advance" game called "Puzzle Of The Chai Lian Of". I was browsing through the current "NINTENDO" website and I stumbled upon the "NINTENDO Game Boy Advance" software. I'm surprised they have a bunch of sites up still.

EDIT: Same goes for the "NINTENDO GAMECUBE" and "NINTENDO 64".

Custom Robo. In all of my NintendoLife, I have only seen one other person even mention it here.

I loved Custom Robo on the gamecube, played it through so many times. I liked the one on DS too. A new Custom Robo on Wii U would be awesome.
