@Wolf-EyE It's effectively true that I own a Wii U and a 3DS that can access to the Virtual Console library. That was what a major factor that got me into retro gaming. But the thing is, some games might either take a very long while to reach on VC or never even gets released at all. Reasons such as legality issue, technical problems being too much to handle and perhaps the lack of willingness on the part of said company are why we can't have every single game for each system ever released. The same could be said for missing features from some classic titles.

This and really, only a fraction of the game libraries are available on the Virtual Console. Not to mention the VC has only a fraction of the features of the Retron 5.

I personally use the unofficial Mega Drive Emulator on the Wii on my TV downstairs and the Mega Drive II in my bedroom. Only because it doesn't work on my 32inch Samsung TV but fine on my 22inch LG TV.

Besides nothing beats playing a game on the original console.

yea of course, i always say "play the game on its own console"

some people play wii games on pc.. i tired once.. one of my favorite game that i play hours on my wii.. i could only stand 5-10 seconds on pc..

but sometimes its hard to find a good condition consoles and games.. they are 20-25 years old.. if you can find them, and a reasonable price, you are lucky
