To keep it simple, what are some NES games you want to play that for whatever reason you have not.

For me:

  • Gargoyle's Quest II - It's even half as good as the first, I simply have to play it. Too bad it's rare as heck...
  • Ducktales - At least the remake's coming out.
  • Clash at Demonhead - Sounds right up my alley. I'm just afraid I'd get lost too often...
  • Ninja Gaiden II - I may have to give in and just skip to this one...
  • Little Nemo - Looks so incredibly imaginitive!
  • Chip & Dale - Heard so many good things, but I might hold out for a remake.
  • Guardian Legend - Looks like easily the best Shmup on the NES...which is telling, since it's not wholey a Shmup.
  • Maniac Mansion - If it is what I think it is, it should be pretty weird. Yet fun.
  • Sweet Home - Too bad it'd be in japanese...
  • Journey to Silius - Looks like a fantastic game. Good music, too.
  • Nightshade - I'm interested to see how the NES handles an Adventure game like this, plus I've heard good things.

Some serious major winners there Canis. I will let you borrow Gargoyle's Quest II for a nonrefundable damage deposit. I love the Gargoyles Quest series (yes, I include Demon's Crest).

I want to play the following games that I have:
Crystalis
Mega Man 5-6
Magic of Scheherazade
Little Nemo

And the games I don' t yet have:
A Boy and His Blob Trouble On Blobolonia
Conquest of the Crystal Palace
Nightshade
Pirates
Solstice
Willow

I actually played it when I was a kid, it was really good. Exactly what you would expect from a late NES Gargoyle's Quest.

Wanting to play an NES game, is like wanting to ride a horse to work.
They did it in the old days, why do I want to try it out today?

For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday.

Because it'd be a fantastic conversation starter?

Yeah, if you want everyone to recognize you as that crazy idiot who rides horses to work.
NES games, however, are a completely different case.

You can fall off the horse or it can kick you in the face.

Then again, there's a number of NES games that can make you feel like you've been kicked in the face.

Castlevania and Megaman 1. I've played Megaman 2 and 3, but never got around to 1 for some reason.
