It's currently running Ubuntu 11.04, and does so very well. It gets VGA and power through the back of the unit. A small hole is cut out, which is just big enough for the VGA cable to fit through. As of now, USB peripherals can only be routed through the front of the case. I also gave it a new paint job, because the original paint was turning a horrid yellow.
The original NES buttons also function just as they would on a normal NES (Left powers on, right resets the system).
looks nice when it's closed up, lol. how hot does it run with everything all crammed in there?

Pretty well, it does get a little warm, but not hot enough to harm the system. It is a very tight fit, though. It took a while rearranging things to get it all to stay in.
That's pretty impressive considering the size. The paint job also looks pretty awesome.
