Topic: Nes cart missing seal of approval!?

Hi, my Father recently bought a couple Nes games at a Swap Shop place and one of them was a Official Nes triple pack containing Super Mario bros, Duck hunt, and World Class Track Meet y'know the basics. This was my second one so I just looked and noticed there wasn't a Nintendo seal of approval. There were also two other minor differences like Mario's clothes color and text. I just was wondering if this was normal, like an error or something. Thank you for your time, -Ethan

Can you post a picture of it?

It's odd because I looked for pictures of the cart and I'm seeing images of carts that have and don't have the seal. I don't know why....

They both work perfectly fine too.

well yes, but is there any reason why?

It looks like they are both legit print variants (according to one site I know of that documents NES carts and their PCBs).
Since it was a pack-in game, Nintendo probably didn't care about putting the Seal of Quality on it. I know Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt (without Track Meet) was also printed with and without the seal.

KingMike is right, both are fine, and I think you're referring to the bootgod database which has the various sides of the carts, the boards, the chips, all the various data about them in image and text format on there.

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)

There's a lot of counterfeit NES games out there. When I visited Brasil I stopped at a game shop and there were a bunch of fake games. Some with multiple games in 1
