So recently I picked up my old NES box, including three NES consoles and all my games. However, I discovered that all the NES consoles don't work properly anymore. I keep getting grey screens :@! Now, on a very few occasions the game loads, but this is rare.
So far I've tried various things to fix the issue, including cleaning the connectors with cleaning alcohol, boiling the 72-pin connector and replacing it with a new one (the new one I ordered online seems bend and does not fit well). However, I keep getting a grey screen 99% of the time.
Do you guys have any tips how I can fix this issue?
I have made some pictures of one of the NES consoles I've been trying to fix (the other two have been untouched). Perhaps it can help locate problems:
