Topic: My new favorite game. Fancy Parodius

I just got Gokujou Parodius! in the mail and I gotta say this is my new favorite game! I don't understand why it never made it's way to North America. Kids would be obsessed with this game for sure. The graphics, power ups, bosses..... everything is so awesome about Gokujou Parodius! Maybe I'll have to check out the other Parodius games.

I've played the NES version (legitimately), Parodius Non-Sense Fantasy, and that is my only real experience with the series. I do enjoy the music though, and I think Gukojyo Parodius has some of my favourite tracks.

When I get a Retron 5 next year, I look forward to trying some of them out (I spied a SNES copy in a game shop the other week).
