@TwilightV: Nice one.

My mind is also blown at this revelation.

That is odd!

I think I heard that tune before BTW, perhaps on SSBB...

I'd think you're lying, since you took the time to post.

I have tons of time on my hands.

Holy crap, I had my speakers cranked when I clicked on that. I think I'm deaf now.

I didn't even know that it was music, I never left my gamecube on without a disk long enough to notice.

I'm not sure. There was the 64DD, but it bombed in Japan. The Gamecube was the first disc based system to be released outside of Japan though. It had some abilities that were never really worked on (I remember reading about unused technology for fully 3D games) so who knows?

Wow, that was slowed down a LOT! So much so that I'll have to take their word on the fact that the two-minute video contains the same order of notes as the five-second one.

I've never heard that GameCube music - when is it? Is it when there's the cube with game select/memory cards etc?

@madgear: Yep, that's exactly when it plays. Funny, my brother didn't know what I was talking about with the menu music either. I guess it's just not too obvious to everybody.
