I remember I was maybe about eleven. I was in Toys R Us and they had the N64 on display for playing. They had Star Fox 64 as the playable game. I tried it out, but didn't realize that the joystick in the middle was for steering, so I ignorantly used the D-pad. The difficulty was on "captain", so when I died, I got a dramatic game over sequence. That was a huge turnoff. I got a Playstation instead.
