We are long overdue. And even if this specific collection isn't happening, doesn't it seem like something that would come out eventually?

yeah ill be back in this thread when i have more time. may have some thoughts...

Would love to hear them. (^.^)

After what must be half a decade, I played EarthBound all the way through over the course of a few weeks (Also first time playing the game solely by myself).

It was fun, but honestly way too easy. Is Mother 3 considerably harder (I know EB Zero is known for its difficulty but that's apparently due all to grinding)?

This is a signature.
Link goes here now.
Screw you.

I felt like it was harder. The battle system is a bit more detailed and there always seems to be a lot going on. Some of the boss battles are tricky.

The boss battles require more strategy, and yeah, I remember grinding quite a bit to level up or for items, plus there's a few really rare item drops.

I still haven't beaten EB Zero. It does take work to grind and have a respectable level.

I really can't seem to like one more than the other. They are both quite good.

With that said, a compilation trilogy would be sweet on the Wii U.

We can only hope sooner or later we get that.

Hey! Lets post our favorite song(s) from the series!

Hm...The Hippie theme, Battle Against a Dangerous Foe, The Paradise Line, Bein' Friends, All I Needed Was You, Mt. Itoi, Pollyanna, Onett, The Jolly Flying Man (mainly the vocal version), Snowman, Winters, The Game Over themes from the first two games, Smiles and Tears, Porky Means Business, Monkey Delivery Service, Mind of a Thief, The Pigmask theme, Master Porky's March, Porky's Porkies, and the Mother 3 Love Theme. I didn't name all of them, because that would take too long. Seriously, this series has some awesome music.

There is nothing here...except for the stuff I just typed...

I haven't finished Earthbound yet, but I can really see why everyone likes it so much. I'd like to continue the story, but apparently I'm stuck in some sort of glitch in Threed, and I forgot to use the in-game saves instead of restore points. Ah, geez.

What's the glitch? I'm curious.

A few favorite songs at the top of my head:

Earthbound: Sunrise and Onette Theme, Bazaar, Enjoy Your Stay, Paula's Theme, Snowman, Porky Means Business!

Mother 3: Fun Naming, Porky's Porkies, Mr. Saturn Theme Z, Mom's Hometown, F-F-Fire!, Hard Rain

There's still a ton of other tracks. Anyway, I would like to know what the glitch is too, maybe it's time to play it again!

I guess I can link videos. Here's a video, if needed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdF3lIm9GyY
Basically, I tried to walk up a flight of stairs, but then I ended up walking on nothing. I could only move right, the music kept switching, and I came across places I never been to.
Oh, but I did move on, by the way. I'm now at the desert, and I'm a little more careful with my restore points.

Haven't seen that before. The only glitch in Threed I was aware of was this:

I know there are a number of glitches out there, but in my experience, which is many playthroughs, I've never encountered them. That's just bad luck there.

Come on, friends,

Neither have I. Which is weird, considering that normally, when I play an RPG like Earthbound, if anything can go wrong it will.

That tent glitch had to be done intentionally. I doubt anyone would just stumble on it. The other one looks accidental though.

That tent glitch video got a little creepy.

@staticwind Woah! What was that one weird room with the single Starman?!
