I have Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt on my NES, and can't seem to do the minus world glitch. Could it be that this glitch is limited to SMB-only cartridges, with compilations not having it?

I've got to the minus world on the compilation cartridge multiple times. You must need better gaming skills.

If I'm not mistaken, any NES version or port of the original Super Mario Bros. game can have access to the Minus World, and this includes Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt. Remakes such as Super Mario All-Stars and Super Mario Bros. Deluxe don't have them.
Looks like you need to brush up on your skills, StarFox. Try watching some YouTube videos of people doing the minus world trick, that helps me if i get stuck sometimes.
