Topic: Majora's Mask: all about errands?

I'm steadily progressing through MM, and it looks like I'll be stuck in Clock Town for awhile while I run all these errands for people. Is this a common feature of the game?

What kind of errands are you doing? Do you mean favors for the bombers? I don`t really remember doing alot of favors for people unless it was crucial for the overall quest in the game.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, would you kindly?

It's basically the entire theme of the game, yeah. Much less focus on dungeons and such (there are only four actual dungeones in this game), and muuuuuch more focus on character interaction and sidequests.

Enjoy it though. Majora's Mask has some of the best characterization in the entire series. It's worth following certain characters around even when you don't have to. They can reveal themselves and their states of mind to you when and where you least expect it.

Cool then. At least the game centers around Clock Town, which is where I end up when I save.

@Chicken Brutus

No I got all the masks, but I don`t recall them being favors. Weird. For the record, fierce deitys mask is uber ownage.

Noire

I think I did something non-sidequestical once.

That was about it, though.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

Hmmm ... if the game is mostly "sidequests", are they really still SIDEquests? xD

yes, you may hit me now.

They're not sidequests, they're the actual game. The dungeons are the sidequests.

Majora's mask was the first Zelda game i played even though I had seen them being played before... Awesome game. Found it more difficult than Ocarina of Time, and more in depth. I waas actually hoping for alot of things that Marora's Mask did to appear in Twilight Princess. Twilight Princess didn't "use" the towns and the people in them as much as they should have. The side quests and how they can potential affect the game as a whole just screams success to me. Also alot of the extra interactions in the field and town structure, extra games, and going in depth of the characters and focusing soley on that group for the three days in my opinion made the game more realistic. The part-timer at the store and delivery of bomb bags at certain times gave alot of pressure imo.

So basically you spend most of your time in town with nothing to fight?

If you talking to me than yes and no... I like to fight enemies too, but i only like fighting the bosses and their "puzzle" ways to defeat them, enemies that require parrying, possibly stealing weapons like Wind Waker and making smart use out of them, uing stealth to avoid enemies compltely ala Metal Gear, having to sheild and getting knocked back or falling down. Like have you played Heavy Rain? Like that but not set up like the game makes the fight(only played the demo by the way). Interactions between the people and finding out who to talk to next without the clue being in your face pointblank, trading items like in that game and getting rewards like the masks.

Also needing to use cover ala Uncharted and Gears of War. I would love to have a Metroid or even original title from Nintendo use the "cover" esque or whatever you call it.
