So I've played five Zelda games which are Phantom Hourglass, Skyward Sword, Ocarina of Time, Spirit tracks and finally Link Between worlds. I also played a Link to the Past but i'm not counting that one since I didn't exactly own it.
So here's my question.
The triforce of power, courage and wisdom.....how did they end up being embodied to Ganon, Zelda and Link. I can understand that ganon took the triforce of power and its still within himself but what about Zelda and Link?
I know that the triforce represents Din, Fahore and Nayru but how does it grant wishes if it gets seperated from Ganon?
But then how does the triforce make a wish if its already separated? why did the gods ever think of making the triforce if it only grants wishes and power?

They're goddesses, they can do whatever they feel like doing!

You can get wishes in one of two ways:
1. If you have a perfect balance of power, wisdom and courage (which Ganondorf did not) and you touch it before it splits
2. If you gather all three pieces, anyone can touch it for a wish
If you don't have a perfect balance of power, wisdom and courage in the first scenario, then the Triforce will split and inhabit the bodies of those with power, courage and wisdom.

Ganon still obtains the triforce of power. So in games like link between worlds, how is it still possible that you can get the wish even without the triforce of power?
The REAL question you should be asking yourself is, "Why haven't I played Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess yet?" Shame on you!
I don't think the series takes the chronology very well. And yeah I didn't realize Zelda would be a great series as a kid until I played Phantom Hourglass so yeah I guess I'm a sucker for not being able to get all the Zelda games.
I'm really beginning to love the series like how I'm loving metroid after playing the first three games. Hopefully the new Zelda game can improve from Link between worlds and make it a masterpiece.
In my opinion, LBW is a masterpiece. I think it's the best Zelda yet, even better that ALttP or OoT. Wind Waker is still my favorite but I think LBW is the better game. No handholding, the item rental system, it was a total blast, and looked great to boot. Plus the music is the best I've ever heard on my 3DS. I just wanted more lol. I didn't want it to end.
