Hey everybody reading this, Im looking for some help in identifying a snes game I found while digging through my old storage unit. The snes game that caught my eye was this Tiny Toons Adventures Game. The cartridge is black and there is no warning label in the back i also recall the game being in japanese. (the writing and txt)
My guess would be maby its a developers preview?
The only SNES game that I know has ever been published in a black cartridge would be Killer Instinct, that's definitely an odd-ball you have on your hands. If it really is in Japanese (Considering it's an American cartridge), it could be rare. Whether it would be in demand and have collector's value is a different story though.
Edit: Upon further research, your game doesn't appear to even exist... The only version the game got was on the NES. Are you sure it's not fake?
definitely not a prototype, most definitely a fake, as to why anyone would bootleg that game is a mystery...whats the origin of the game besides the storage unit?

I don't know if its fake. I got the game when I was a kid from my dad who originally found it from his job back then at a hotel.

I just noticed, there is no Super NES logo on the right of the cartridge, I'm looking up SNES games, and they all have the logo on the right. I think it's a fake.
Edit: Or is there? On second look, I can't tell if there is on your cartridge, the light is blocking it.
Edit 2: If you're willing to unscrew the cart, you should be able to tell pretty easily.
Oh, well then the label does indeed look good to my eyes. But I'm not an expert in this field. For a fake game, it begs the question why they went to the trouble of making their own cover art. I think the only way we're going to know is to have somebody knowledgeable in these things look at it, or you'll have to open it up and snap a picture.

I thought so. What it might be than is someone took a NA Killer Instinct cartridge (which is the only NA SNES game that I can think of that was black) and swapped the guts with the Japanese Tiny Toons game and slapped the label on it. Why someone would do that I have no idea.

Or you can sell it on eBay right away, before anyone finds out its a fake.
Since its SNES game and not a very desired one (But slap the word "RARE" on it, and you're bound to get buyers), your lucky to get $30-$50 for it, on a good day. The only people in the market that buy old video games are mostly buying it for nostalgic purposes because sentimental value is worth nothing.
