I don't know, but I just got a GBA Sp for the first time and let me say, the light makes all the difference in the world! I love it. Now I can't stop playing Mario Golf Advanced haha

Mario & Luigi, Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones, the Sonic Advance series, the Super Mario Advance series of remakes, Yoshi: Topsy Turvy, WarioWare, The Legend Of Zelda series, Mario Tennis: Power Tour, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, the Classic NES Series, Metroid Fusion, Wario Land 4, and Mario VS. Donkey Kong.
Then there is also the large selection of Game Boy and GBC games.
Of course its retro it was released in 2001 and has been superseded by the DS and now 3DS
I still love the GBA - Micro for portability, SP for the light and the original for the better, more comfortable form factor - One for all occasions lol
According to the Mods around here anything that isnt current generation is retro. So anything from Gamecube era back is considered retro. I personally dont agree with that but they are the mods.

You know that just because they moderate this website doesn't mean they're correct, right?
wii is so retro and based on that guy from EA's console gen classification so is wii u but seriously though you can be new and retro at the same time just look at Neo Geo X.

I guess I don't really think of the GBA as a Retro console when it probably is. I mean, we've had the DS, DS Lite, DSi, DSi XL, 3DS, and 3DS XL since the Advance came out so it has been a while.

It's funny the GBA doesn't seem retro.... I only consider NES and older retro, it's hard to believe N64 is retro, feels like just yesterday I was a teen playing 007 with my cousins

The GameBoy Micro was released in 2005.
I don't think it matters what's retro or not.

The GameBoy Micro does not exist to me. And I don;t see the huge deal with classifying consoles as Retro either. When I think of Retro I think of A: The NES or B: The creators of Metroid Prime not the GBA.

Wait? Retro Studios? What about them (sarcasm)? I almost forgot they're called Retro. I can't wait to see their next game.
