Hi guys just got ikari 3 Rescue for NES great game but when I play co-op with a friend and we get a game over i hit yes for continue and it switches to single player has anyone who has played ikari 3 experience this before could I be doing something wrong, could there be something wrong with the game i don't know hoping someone will have an answer i searched the Web and I can't find nothing on this issue please help thanks.
hmmm.
unplug/re plug both controllers.
if that doesnt work clean the contacts real quick.
i was playing predator 2 and bloodlines and the games were acting funny until i put the controllers back in.
sometimes controllers cause a game to act up like that believe it or not.
3rd party ones can do that.

Are you talking about the contacts on the plug of the controller and if you are what should I use I use alcohol and Q-tips my games but I would think a Q-tip would be to fat to clean the plug on the end of the controller and come to think of it my controllers sometimes momentarily don't work at random
@Dieselpower87
oh my bad.
yes use the highest percentage rubbing alcohol you have and rub the game contacts with the q tips.
but i had a feeling its yer controllers. if you have a can of air spray that in the controller sockets.

Just wondering what about electrical cleaner in a spray can from like an auto parts store or would something like that be to strong for those kind of components
@Dieselpower87
i use alcohol and contact cleaner to polish my game contacts.
some people shun that but none of my games have any problems booting up.
i would do a quick clean on the game board with the alcohol and even blowing in the end parts of the controller manually. pick one to clean, the game or the controller ends and troubleshoot from there. it could be the controller ports on the system. so thats 3 variables to try.

if it isnt any other game but ikari 3 it may just be the game needs cleaning.
