This is interesting at least. I don't necessarily trust this but it would be the perfect opportunity to not have to buy a PS3 just to mostly get Ps1/2 titles.

I'd immediately get Dreamcast but I remembered that most of the games I cared about were ported to other consoles I own.

yeah what i'm saying is i don't want a genesis get over it :V

There goes all the small time sellers of retro games. And there goes affordable retro games. And there goes being able to sell your retro games for a good amount of money.

Lots of censorship here...

Yeah this worries me. It's going to drive the cost of old games up, and it's not going to be fun.

I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.

I'm not buying my "vintage" games from them. As long as their is Ebay this is irrelevant really. Private sellers are still going to choose to sell the games themselves and make more $ than to get squat by selling them to Gamestop.

You know Play N Trade already does stuff like this. They're a fairly big company, too. It's just that, well, around here, everyone apparently thinks the same way you do, since our Play N Trade went downhill in about a month, and was gone in less than a year.

I honestly don't like this. I bet it will be good for like 2 days then start sucking with over priced games everywhere. It takes away the uniqueness from independent game stores and Play N Trade. Play N Trade no doubt would probably be selling the same games cheaper too. I hope this doesn't ruin the one in my area later on since it's literally across the street from GameStop.

I needed to boost my Genesis collection but I will only go for $5 a game, unless it's really rare, in which I doubt will be for long at a Gamestop.

...they aren't making the games...

I think he meant that a "rare game" will not be there for a long time once one appears because someone will buy it right away.

I hope so, because to me it sounds like he' saying a rare game won't e rare anymore if it's at a Gamestop.

This could be helpful with with my currently small Genesis collection. I was a bit late to the party called birth, so I have to play a game with ketchup. (pardon the pun)

This is good for my area. None of those smaller businesses exist within my city. I seldom come across any in antique and pawn shops either.

I hate online resellers. I'd rather buy from GameStop.
