The IGN people made a video commentary of them going through the very first Nintendo Power magazine with the Super Mario 2 cover. Man this video was fun to watch, I so miss that magazine!

Nice video! I'm trying to collect all the issues, and today I got 20 issues from the GameCube/GBA era. Classic stuff, I love how they used to put posters in every issue, and how the previews for games actually told you about the different parts of the game rather than just basic gameplay. I know this isn't the right place for this, but if anybody is interested in selling some NP back issues, please let me know.

I don't know if I have my posters anymore.
When I was a kid, I had every volume from 43 (December 1992, Roadrunner's Death Valley Rally) through I think 90 (November 1996, DKC3), pretty much the end of the SNES era. My parents through out a lot of my collection, but I had the posters separate as at one point I put them all on my wall.
(though I had a subscription, my parents let it end after issue 70/March 1995, they still let me keep buying it in the store. Mostly because EB was still selling non-current issues at a buck, so it was cheaper. I do remember issue 70, NBA Jame TE on the cover but the more important thing: an EarthBound preview with many beta screens. )
