lolol, IT DOES THOUGH!!! my wife had an interesting thought too ((i am just really hoping it cant be true) that rhymes and you know it!) that it could have been a "demo" game or something to that effect. i HIGHLY doubt it because of where i was when i rented this game. but i suppose it COULD be a possibility.

I have no idea. I'm not familiar with SNES RPG's. Base what you think about the game off of facts. The fights, the areas. How a game appears to you can change over time. I remember thinking Ocarina of Time looked insanely realistic. Nothing about the real game matched my memories, but I knew it was the game in my memories.

You'd rather play Amagon & unlicensed repo carts created by Basement dwelling hot pocket eaters. Top That!

...ive got 4 repro games. and i have most of the originals as well. some multiple original copies, and sealed. thats famicom and super famicom.
if you know anyone who can reproduce a hot pocket and it follows sanitation standards, ill invest in that as well.
how many import games do you have? ive got quite a few

Hmm...maybe a long shot, but was it "Arcana" ? The town is set up in some sort of "first person menu" thingy, where you scroll sideways through the buildings. It has turn based combat and is quite elemental heavy. Other than that, i have really no idea what it could be and i know pretty much every 16 bit RPG of that time..

Chrono trigger, Illusion of Gaia. Breath of Fire, Lufia 2, and lagoon are my strongest guesses
