@WesterHive Global Assault is amazing! I played Battle Tanx first, and I loved it, but when I played Global Assault I was blown away. I remember renting BT several times in 97-98, and then Global Assault came out in '99 and I got it for Christmas...wow, I put soooo many hours into that game with my friends. Putting in cheats for all weapons and going through the co-op mode was the best!
I second Star Wars: Rogue Squadron. I love the PC version.
If you like Pokémon, consider Pokémon Stadium 1 and 2. They're nowhere near as deep as the core games, but they're a couple of the better spinoffs, even if you no longer have Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, or Crystal versions to use with them.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

Killer instinct and Killer instinct Gold Ogre Battle 64 Rayman 2 Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie Perfect Dark I think Doom was on the 64 and if it was find it lol.
I just ordered Goldeneye, so thats off my list! This game was one of my favorites as a kid. My brother had Perfect Dark, but I only got to play it a few times because I wasn't allowed to play M games then. I will definitely be getting it now though.
Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie are the two games that you absolutely cannot miss out.

Ah the Nintendo 64, my favorite video game console of all-time. Wish I still had it, but I can recommend tons of games for the system:
Goldeneye 007 Banjo-Kazooie Banjo-Tootie Donkey Kong 64 Diddy Kong Racing Vigilante 8 Vigilante 8: Second Offense Revolt Mario Party Mario Party 2 Mario Party 3 BattleTanx: Global Assault BattleTanx Worms: Arrmengandon Space Station Silicon Valley Mickey Mouse Racing game by Rare Pokemon Stadium Pokemon Stadium 2 And more...
Back when I had the system, my collection was 2nd to my PS2 collection. The Nintendo 64 is an fantastic system, you will not regret the system. Maybe I'll decide on retro gaming instead of a PS3, just so I can be reunited with my favorite system.
Blast Corps ,Space Station Silicon Valley, Star Wars Episode One:Pod Racing and Beetle Adventure racing are all great games. Any of the RARE games are worth a look too.
here's the Universal SNES/N64/GCN S-Video Cable i was talking about But I'm guessing you've probably already looked for one of the many different types on eBay.
But ya, I remember the first day I got an S-Video cable for my gamecube and I was like 'wow' I've been missing out. the graphics looked clearer and sharper compared to the blurry ugly picture composite offered. I remember i kept switching both cables for all of my games to see the the difference. S-video rocks composite.
But If you were one of the lucky ones who baught the GCN right when it first hit, it had a Component cable input. the newer models didn't. But eh, just play your cube games on your wii because you DO get a component connection...as for me, I'd rather play buy N64 games from the Wii VC, because you get that component PQ....But for some reason i find the stiffer N64 Analog stick better to use for Mario 64 and every other N64 game...it offers more precise movement compared to the Classic controller, gamecube controller or Wii nunchuck analog sticks....honestly that's one of the things nintendo messed up on. the N64's analog stick Offered better movement..it was easier to slowly creep around with mario, make him slighty creep or walk faster ect. it was revolutionary and offered fantastic control....But with current analog sticks it just doesn't work as well at all. Nintendo at least still makes the best ones, but the N64 analog sticks is the greatest for true analog movement.
