It's been a while since I've had a Super Nintendo; my mom gave it away many years ago. But I just bought one again, and I'd like to know what games I should buy for it that aren't Chrono Trigger or Earthbound. I already have KI, SMW, ALttP, and DKC, and I know I'm going to be getting Aladdin, Stunt Race FX, NBA Jam, and SMW2: Yoshi's Island.

Wow, this thread is over a year old. Thanks for the response, though. I did like Home Alone 2 on the GameBoy, and I actually bought Goof Troop a few months ago, and it's not as good as I remember it being as a kid, but it's still pretty good.

You are very lucky. Highly recommend Tetris Attack & Super Mario RPG. You should also get a Game Genie just for kicks.

This, a thousand times this. And then, if you enjoy SoulBlazer, try Illusion of Gaia.

Oh, and if you're interested, gren, there's a game called The Lost Vikings, which has action-platforming and puzzling combined into one. It's got really well-thought out puzzles, really good play control, good amount of challenge, and humorous dialogue every now and then. It's one of the best games ever conceived, in my eyes. The soundtrack, though very small (eight tracks), is quite catchy.

^After The Lost Vikings, the developers wanted to try something different and this little game called Warcraft was born.

Blizzard (known as Silicon & Synapse in pre-1994) owns the rights to The Lost Vikings. Man, wouldn't it be cool if it hit the VC?

Try the Final Fantasy games, Super Punch-Out!!, Super Castlevania IV, and Mega Man X.

I'm back (for the moment)!

Secret of Mana, Megaman X (2 & 3 also), Super Metroid of course, and perhaps Zombies ate my Neighbours.

Sadly some of the games aren't that cheap to find anymore.

Earthbound and Chrono Trigger are both highly overrated, so don't think you are really missing much.

I emulated both of those games, and I got to the last boss of Chrono Trigger and got pissed off and quit because I HATE games that have a final boss that has 50 different forms you have to beat. It just got annoying. I never really got into Earthbound. They're both so expensive, so I don't plan on buying them.

Lavos only has three forms in Chrono Trigger (fantastic RPG, imo) (I never once lost to his second form, ever!). Don't know about EarthBound, 'cause I haven't played it (but I want to).
