@Atariboy
This discussion is getting pretty off topic...

I don't see what the deal is. I haven't encountered any VC inaccuracy as far as I'm aware, besides maybe the 4:3 aspect ratio being absent, and the fixed that.

I enjoy the games on there, not to mention they're up rezzed for HDTVs and have clearer stereo or suround sound vs. the carts. I got the game. I got the buttons. I'm fine with that.

My HDD is tangible. I'm done here. Bye.

Hope you do get what you want from your SP systems.

As much as I love my DS Lites, they also don't provide multiplayer with GBA carts. You need an actual GBA along with the cable for that.

My GBA SP is the front-lit version, and the light has faded substantially, barely lighting the screen at all these days. Other than that it worked fine the last time I tried it, but I use a DS Lite when I want to play a GBA game.

Like I said, GBA will show up on Wii U. I bet they'll get multiplayer going with 3DS and shared accounts for that to happen...

Then I'll have a gold bar as a paper weight. Just kidding. I'm just speculating about something I think could happen Same thing with Pokemon Ruby and Saphire. Why remake the games when they can just release them on the VC, then add the option to upload to the Pokemon Bank?

I already have the 10 GBA games on my 3DS thans to the ambassador program. I'm good for now.

I try to use them as soap. They don't work up a lather too good, but the ladies love the fresh scent.

i knew someone who bought a fools gold bar and tried the same thing, the next day he woke up his skin was all green.
for the next 2 1/1 months he was on the news reported as one of the moon men from rocky and bullwinkle.

What? The VC games look, play, and sound better on my HDTV than the original hardware and cartridge. That looks to be the true experience in my eyes.

If you like leaving something behind a case or in storage never to be played with, then more power to you, I guess.

It is impossible for them to play better than with directly wired in controllers on a crt.

Real hardware looks great over RGB. Doesn't have those cheap filters and when the scanlines are part of the image just doubling makes it look wrong.

Sound is badly emulated especially the megadrive.

Advantages are you don't have to play the whole thing in one sitting.

All I know is that the VC games are the exact same files they uploaded to retail copies back in the day. They up the resolution of VC content for higher res displays. As far as I can tell, everything looks and sounds clearer on the VC than the original carts or console,

The only issue I would say is relevant in certain situations is input lag on HDTVs. In my case, input lag is nearly nonexistent and I have a quality surround sound receiver to boot. Everything looks and sounds better than it ever could have if I was using retor equipment.
