Topic: How the heck did Demon's Crest slip under the radar?

It seems like hardly anyone knows about the game but I can't see how that's possible. The graphics were stunning, The play control was perfect and it was made by Capcom. They've been making awesome games left and right probably since the first Mega man. Why did so many people ignore this game originally? Was it because no parents wanted to buy their kid a game with the word Demon in the title? Anyway I find it astonishing that people missed out on this when it clearly had all the features of a great videogame. I hope by some miracle Capcom or Nintendo might get this game on VC ASAP!

Fairly high in difficulty and very little marketing. But you're right, it went largely unnoticed except for those of us who were such huge fans of the Ghosts & Goblins games that followed its progress back in the day. Great game.

I wasn't a huge ghost n goblins fan but I did quite enjoy Super ghouls and ghosts. Never could beat it though. I'd say it's harder than Demon's crest anyday. That's not really a fair comparison since you can uprade your abilities and defense but still.
