I wish I had more to say about Time Lord. You collect orbs. The music's okay, the graphics are okay, the controls are okay, the gameplay's pretty bland though. Also, you walk at a pretty slow pace unless you hold up+right, or down+left. There are some jumps you can only make by standing on the edge of a ledge, and jumping and holding one of these two directions whilst in the air. Plus, the hardware glitched and went back to a blinking starting screen. Obviously not the game's fault as much as it is a dusty cartridge and old NES, but I just didn't feel like working my way back to where I was.
Anyway, it's just meh. It's what I like to call a 5/10, the epitome of mediocrity.
Edit: oh yeah, I forgot to mention. You collect orbs in this game. 5 per round. Re-edit: Also, I should almost give this game a 9/10 compared to the other games I've put on here, because it least it had music.
Not sure what the next game will be, but there will be another one. I should have at least 20 more bad-to-mediocre NES games I can go through.
Also, ITT: less CoD v Halo v Gears arguments and more playing awful retro games imo.
Okami also made me cry doggy tears, never have I felt so uncompelled and bored with a videogame since...well....Madworld. Off to the magical Dog dump it goes!
I just couldn't get into it, especially considering that there was going to be a 40 + Hour adventure ahead of me. Plus, i didn't exactly find it that fun at all to play and the japanese-y flavour somewhat derailed me. Didn't float my bogus boaty, what can I say. Too each their own.
But just because you didn't like it doesn't mean it's a bad game. It is good. It's just not your type of game. Besides I thought you liked Zelda? OoT3D took me around 40 hours, I think.
I never said it was a bad game, like I said it's just not for me. I mean I can see why it gets a lot of praise, but keep in mind I've only spend around 3 hours with it, but that was enough for me.
And OOT 3D took you 40 hours to finish? Yikes! Zelda: Link's Awakening probably took me around 20 + hours to complete and I loved the hell out of that one. Besides, I don't mind spending that much time in Hyrule, it's Zelda after all. Okami however...Well the characters, the gameplay and the whimsical white pupster himself just didn't interest me really. lol
Link's Awakening DX took me 24 hours. A lot of the puzzles just stumped me in Oot3D. It was my first time playing the game after all. I hadn't played a Zelda game before Link's Awakening. I love the series now though. But to each their own I guess. Maybe you'd enjoy Okamiden on the Wii more.
OOT is taken me a while (I collect EVERYTHING) im at 90+ hrs (2nd time playing it, 1st time finishing it)

The Adventures of Bayou Billy by Konami Awful. It's a beat-em-up, but the controls are horrible. You can punch and kick, but there doesn't seem to be any way to out-maneuver the enemy. If you hit A+B perfectly, you do a jump-kick, which is really the only method of not getting hit as much. Normal kicking and normal punching will cause you to just lose. Well, I died a bunch. The fighting in this game is just horrid. Every screen takes forever because jump-kicking (which is way too hard to pull off) is the only way to beat the enemies without getting beaten to a pulp, and every enemy takes way too many hits to kill.
I've heard that the Japanese version is easier.

Thanks, that was rich. You sure told me.lol 'Okami' is praised for the most part for being a great game, but I didn't like it, as in BADDDDD. Yes, I felt it wasn't fun, it wasn't compelling, I didn't like the characters, the Japanese-y presentation along with the setting which didn't interest me. So ya....I mean It's hard for me to say it's a 'bad' game, but it was a bad experience for me....But ya i guess your right, OKAMI isn't a bad game by any means.
But it wasn't horrible, as the title of this thread states.

GO Series Defence Wars, god that game is awful, worst £1.80 I have ever speant!
You have to slide the stylus up to shoot and kill the enemies coming from the top screen, however most of them you're either overshooting or undershooting.
Along with your stupid units it's near unplayable for me. Along with the very agressive AI in just level 9, you're dead in a matter of seconds. It's absolute junk!
Even Nintendo Life gave it a positive review I believe. D:
