Topic: Help value this Nintendo Bundle

I guess about a year ago I took the wife garage selling and found someone was selling this Nintendo set for a grand total of $10. I would be a moron to pass it up, heck even the plastic tub that was holding it they let me and it alone was probably $5-$10 at Wal-Mart

Anyway it's been sitting in my attic every since. I don't really need the money but I figured I would sell it so someone else can enjoy. The problem is I have no clue what it's worth so I just slapped a price on it and see if anyone would bite on Craig's

I know the games them self are not worth all that much but since they have all the original packaging and the fact that even the boxes are so well maintained it has to bump the value a bit. And I mean the boxes don't even have bends on the corners or anything the guy who owned must have to extra good care of this stuff. Like I said though I need help on a top dollar Value and I don't need money that bad so I want the most bang I can get for this bundle. Thanks for any help guys

Here's my Craig's link

Ya no lie man. They had a big garage full of stuff and this set was sitting in a plastic tub under some other stuff so I didn't know if it was for sale. We asked and I guess they forgot it was there and said "Uhhhh, Ya sure $10". I was shocked I thought at least $50 at the lowest if it was for sale at all

I haven't found a deal like that since nor had I before.

Yeah, with that kind of luck, you might want to consider the lottery.

First, congrats on an awesome find. The games aren't that great on their own, but the condition is spectacular.

Now the problem I have with this post. Why mark it up so high, and why be so concerned about turning around something you got for a song for "top dollar value"? You say multiple times that you don't need the money, you even say once that you want someone else to enjoy it... but your actions aren't following your words.

My suggestion: Sell it for less. A lot less. You can probably sell it easily for $100 - maybe even $200 - if you can a find a collector locally. By dropping the price you'll sell it quicker, still make a boatload of money off something that cost you very little, and the buyer will get something really cool at a reasonable price.

That's just my take. But it's your stuff, so you can do whatever you want.

if I had your luck I'd keep it play it a little(and with care) and enjoy it carefully that's too good to let break or to sell it. I never had any Nintendo Console before N64! XD

Why do I have a feeling that this is a thread to advertise a Craiglist sale?

Thanks for the help guys. I started it out high just because I figured even if the games them self are not that much with them having everything like I said and being in mint condition they might bring $20 a game that alone is $400+ and some sites even list them higher than that

Well I'll never get that lucky again, I've never been the lucky type lol. And if the Craig's ad counts advertisement I'll take the link down as it was just easier to list that instead of naming very little thing.

Also what I meant by not needing the money is that I'm not in need to pay no bills or anything but sure I would take the money if it was offered as every little helps but I want to get the most I can for it though.

I did actually play them all to see if they work because I to started late by a Snes being my first console. Even the booklets inside don't have a single crease or fold mark.

I would say $80-120.
I've gotten those exact items for less than $80 all together from a retro reseller.
wireless Double Player Acclaim controllers = $15 at most(EDIT: You're missing one, so actually more like $10)
games = $5 a piece,
Power Pad Set = $40 at most
Zapper= $1.
It's still a good find, but it's definitely not worth over $100 unless someone spends their money without much of a thought(or a collector).
This is coming from someone who got a top-loader NES with the dogbone controller, 5 games, and a little TV for $25, which is worth more than this. Unless you can find an "excited" buyer, you're not gonna get more than that.
I run into this stuff constantly at the flea market for cheap, and if someone asks for a BS price, I tell them to their face.
I've gotten brand new N64 remotes and rumble paks for $2. Anyone who knows what I'm talking about knows the items I mentioned and payed for was a good deal.

It kind of is. Once this guy sells the stuff, the ad is gonna be gone so this thread will be pointless after that. The ad has all the information we need to know in order to discuss anything.

I respect you opinion but "I gotta make a profit" lol I kid. You could very well be right though

I still say its worth a litte more just because the game with how good they are should bring $10 a pop. And the other controller is stacked under the first one. I couldn't fit everything in the picture.

@Swamp_Stagger
Well, the entire retro collecting, pricing, ect. is based on opinion altogether, based on the buyer.
I've gotten this stuff for around $80($370 cheaper), like I said, and I know where I can find a better deal if I actually wanted to buy this stuff.

The guy I bought the stuff from knows more than you based on your quote, "I have no clue what it's worth".

EDIT: Not trying to be mean, but only an idiot would buy this stuff for that much.

I could buy a modern day gaming console for less than that asking price, with over 20 years more worth of advancements in technology.

Did you but it all in this good of condition? Seems hard to find many like these, I agree though the stuff itself is not worth but a $100 or so but I still stress the condition means a lot to some people and adds quite a bit of value to the games. Even $10 a game would bring $200+

I was gonna try eBay but I hate they take 10% then you have to go through the PayPal waiting and such

And I don't mind people telling my how it is. I'm open to hear opinions good or bad

I'm easy going lol

you should try ebay. It's very hard to find these gems with the outer boxes intact. You may get more than you expect.

It was about the same condition, and I didn't even buy as a lot. It was picks from gargae sales or buying at a flea market piece by piece.

The only convenience from buying your lot is getting it all at once, but that still wouldn't warrant more than what I said really.

If someone buys it, then good for you. The value is what we're arguing here, afterall, which is based on opinion like I said. I would buy this for $80, or go somewhere else.

@Swamp_Swagger: Your bundle is worth at least $350. You can get at least get an average of $12 per NES games in that condition, with Super Mario Bros. 2 easily $25, and the NES set with the box for at least $125.
