Hello, so I beat Nemesis on Gameboy (it is part of the Gradius series) and yet I didn't get any end credits. It just went straight to the second loop. After watching some playthroughs of it on YouTube, there is definitely a credit roll and THEN the game loops. I'm so confused as to why I didn't see the end credits. I've searched everywhere and I can't find any information on this. So I'm just wondering, could a cartridge be glitched or something where it skips the end credits? Is that actually POSSIBLE? Also, if anyone is familiar with the game would you be able to provide an explanation if it's not a glitch? Have any of you experienced similar things? Your answers will be much appreciated

I'm not familiar much with the game but a couple things that pop into my mind as possibilities:
Difficulty? Konami had a habit of locking endings behind harder difficulties.
I think some early Konami GB games also had a level-select as a standard feature. (Nemesis did, I think Operation C/Probotector/"Contra" might've had it as a regular feature in the JP version and a cheat in the west) Maybe you only get the ending if you play through the entire game?
