It’s the most wonderful time of the year and let’s talk about what makes it so great here! Santa Claus is Coming to Town and sure he could bring you something new and modern but this time of year it's all about tradition, the memories and simply having a Wonderful Chrismastime, so are you hoping for some retro gifts or expecting a lump of coal? What's on your nostalgia inspired Christmas list? Since it’s Beginning to Look Like Christmas how are you going to celebrate and spend the rest of the year? Maybe Rocking Around the Christmas Tree with some Jingle Bell Rock or will there be Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire while you watch Fred Savage search for the perfect $6.00 Christmas present for Winnie Cooper in The Wonder Years? Don’t have a Blue Christmas, make this thread a Home for the Holidays, Master Splinter commands it!

@CountWavula
I absolutely LOVED The Christmas Toy when I was a kid, I even named the dog we got around that time Rugby after the tiger main character.
And I think they only actually aired it on tv once (maybe twice)? I haven't seen it since it originally aired back in 1986. I might seriously have to pick it up.

Yeah, loved this when I was a kid. My parents recorded it off of TV and we happily watched it every year...until my parents recorded over the tape years later.
I watched it for the first time in like 20 years last year because it was on Netflix. I couldn't believe how much I still had memorized.
A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road.
This thread now makes me feel bad which is the total opposite direction of the intent! As an 80's/90's kid I don't remember The Christmas Toy, guess I need to search that out on Netflix.
Anybody ever have/play Rattle Me Bones? I got that one year for Christmas like in 89 or 90 or something and recently busted it out. What a great game.

Christmas is my favorite time of the year, but what really bugs me is how early so many businesses start up with it.
I was in a Borders Books store maybe 4 years ago, on the night before Halloween...and suddenly, they start playing Andy Williams' "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" on the storewide radio! I looked up from my book, grumbled "wrong holiday, you idiots", and resumed my reading.
God, guns, and guts made America; let's keep all three.
hey ryno, did those 2 cibs of hagane get to you yet?

"I'll take a potato chip... AND EAT IT!"
Light Yagami, Death Note
"Ah, the Breakfast Club soundtrack! I can't wait 'til I'm old enough to feel ways about stuff!"
Phillip J. Fry, Futurama
@ogo79: You know, I was about to get a package from the delivery man the other day but he got robbed by either Sasquatch or Waveboy. Couldn't quite make it out because i was to busy digging out from my CIB's. All those SNES games get heavy and I was disorientated you know?
I hope Santa brings this to everyone of you this year:
