Topic: has megaman anneversery collection ever freeze on ya?

ok, so i got me that comp for the gamecube and played though megaman 1. after i beat wily the game glitches and freezes right when im supposed to see him on he knees defeated. there is nothing i can do and am forced to reset my wii and play though all 4 levels of wileys castle again... i have done this three times before consulting the forum for help...but no dice i still get that disappointing frozen screen... has this heartbreaking situation happened to anyone else (or any other problems regarding this collection?). jesus i'm so bummed out about this

i had it a while ago but it never froze on me lol

maybe u got a bad disk
check for scratches the same thing happened to me but in Wind Waker. It froze at file select

No, it sounds like a problem with your disc. I've never had that happen to me, and I don't think I've ever heard of it, either.

thats a fun collection tho try to get the mmx collection as well that was pretty fun

just get a disk cleaner

@bmfjoe1990 i will get that soon, i try not to get to many video game comps at once cause it will destroy my completion ratio on backloggery.com. but that collection is totally on my list of games to get; megaman x is like my favorite game ever.

@grenworthshero your right, i have spent the last hour searching for information about technical issues regarding this compilation and i couldn't find anything about it....ARRRGH what a pain...

Nope, it never froze on me. Then again, I had the GameCube version, although I've no idea what difference it makes.

has anyone ever tried the toothpaste trick for scratched cds?

lol dont just buy a disc doctor it works

I have, all it did was scratch it more, because there's little grains in the toothpaste. I don't exactly know how it's supposed to work. I tried it with peanut butter too, but to no avail

toothpaste trick didnt work fyi. made it worse (maybe i used the wrong kind, i bet i need Crest instead of Auqafresh lol _ )
