Topic: Greatest Game cube games?

I don't own a gamecube, but my friend does, and out of all 59 games he had I found ssbm the best. (super smash bros melee)

Hmm..........I would say..........ssmb, shadow the hedgehog, sonic adventure dx, sonic mega collection.....and...........super mario sunshine. And luigi's mansion. Haven't played that many. Will be buying more off ebay.

I know that there were better games throughout the Game Cube life, but for me, the stand out titles were the launch titles, Luigi's Mansion (I know it was short, but for originality, you can't knock it), and Rogue Squadron 2 (this game I feel really reproduced the atmosphere of the movies). Twilight Princess gets a mention for its size / depth. This took me nearly 100 Hours to complete (i didn't cheat or use the fortune tella)

The GameCube is one of my favorite Nintendo gaming consoles. It was probably obvious what my favorite GC game is: Metroid Prime. Awesome gameplay, story, graphics, music, etc. 11/10.

Animal Crossing, Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion, Pikmin.

Tales of Symphonia. If I had to live with just one video game I would without a doubt pick ToS. If it was a woman, I would marry it. If it was a man... I'd still marry it.

Objectively speaking, Metroid Prime, Zelda: Twilight Princess and Resident Evil 4 are the best games on the system. They're also the best games on the system in my opinion.
Weirdly enough, they were all also remade on the Wii, and they all benefit from the control changes the system puts out.

Wind Waker, Paper Mario: TTYD, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Pikmin 1 & 2, F-Zero GX, Smash Bros Melee, Metroid Prime 2 and Super Mario Sunshine are also fantastic games.

Eternal Darkness - Greatest horror game ever made.
Super Monkey Ball (1 & 2) : The Wii seemed to kill this franchise off but Monkey Tennis and Monkey Bowling were how we played Tennis and Bowling before the Wii
RE4 - I'm still waiting for a game that sets a new bar for adventure games because this set the ground for nearly every 3rd person adventure since.
Twilight Princess - I preferred this to WW and MM but if you could combine WW's side quests with TP's Hyrule and dungeons this game would be an all time winner.
F-Zero GX - I still have nightmares about the story mode

Freedom Fighters - When EA made interesting games
LotR: Two Towers and Return of the King - When EA made good licensed movie games
XIII - definitely needs a sequel. Outrageous cliffhanger ending.
True Crime: LA - not amazing but where else on a Nintendo console could you kill hundreds of police as Snoop Dogg standing in front of the 'Hollywood' sign!
