Edit: I wondered. In my mind's eye I remembered it looked more zoomed-in and I think it was a different pic. I'm just glad, though, to finally settle on one like I did with Jenna. Sorry I forgot about that; that day was really confusing and odd for me.

Yep, that's what I remember. I dunno, that night I was like, "Huhn, gotta think of a quick avatar. Ooh, I could steal his in-game portrait!" It's similar to Adam's (which I like) so I wanted to keep it. It just looked bad on the site, though, so I changed it, and then changed it to this one when pixelman showed it to me.

I hope so. There going to need new areas to show so it doesn't feel stale, and the moon would be the perfect place to go. And we still need to learn more about the enigmatic Sheba.

i'm interested in checking it out. There's a big market in town tonight and there's always a video game stand which sell older games as well so perhaps they have a copy I could pick up.
I have it, but I haven't played it, and I don't intend on playing it any time soon. As far as I can tel, it's just a generic RPG, but more Lunar generic, instead of FF1/DQ1 generic(which actually would've been favorable). The plot will be linear, predictable, and impersonal, outside of a set of predictible choices that'll change the plot in a predictable manner, and the gameplay will follow the same format as well. For me, there's just no point in playing it.
All in all, if you want a simple, plot-heavy RPG with simple, easy gameplay, go for it. Just don't expect any surprises.
EDIT: Whoops, I didn't see Adaments post! He even said what I was trying to say far better than I did, too. Anywho, yeah, They're dull, generic games, and I honestly don't recommend them, unless you can find them dirt cheap (they currently go for $10 minimum...I suggest you wait).
Well, after actually playing it, I have to say...I was right about it, for the most part, except for the games I compared it to, which all turned out to be really good games, and too good to be compared to it.
Really, I still just don't see the appeal of this game. Other than the graphics(which are impressive, but terribly ugly in my opinion), this game really doesn't excel at all. It's not a terrible game, but it's a really "been there, done that, and done it far better" kinda game. I guess I have to agree with Adamant, it must be nostalgia. For all those who could get into it, more power to ya, but I think I'll stick with the other RPG's I got, especially Lunar(Which has the Best script in a JRPG ever, by the way! I've never played a game with so much funny and memorable dialogue in the longest time! The gameplay is good, too, which just makes the game that much more awesome!)
