On the GBA, that's really as good as it gets.

None of the games he mentioned are in the US, actually. That's kinda what Otaku does...hence the name...

Anyways, I'll just recommend every GBA game I still own, plus two or three that I no longer own:

Boktai: The Sun Is in Your Hand
Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django
Breath of Fire
Castlevania Double Pack
Castlevania: Circle of the Moon
Demikids: Dark Version
Drill Dozer
F-Zero: Maximum Velocity
Final Fantasy V Advance
Golden Sun
Gunstar Super Heroes[JP, NA], Gunstar Future Heroes[EU]
Iridion II
King of Fighters EX2: Howling Blood
Klonoa: Empire of Dreams
Klonoa 2: Dream Champ Tournament
Legend of Zelda, The: A Link to the Past
Legend of Zelda, The: The Minish Cap
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
Mega Man and Bass
Mega Man Battle Network 6 Cybeast Gregar
Mega Man Zero 3
Mega Man Zero 4
Metroid Fusion
Metroid: Zero Mission
Ninja Five-O
Pokemon Emerald

DOOM
Metal Slug Advance
River City Ransom EX

Thanks to you, I just ordered Boktai off of Amazon. No idea how reliable that website is, as it is the first time I'm actually using it.

Anyone know where I can find your awesome recommendations at a reasonable price, and not 10x what they were at release.

@Geonjaha - I highly doubt he can buy from eBay UK when he's a US citizen.

I was tempted to cross out Ninja Five-O simply because of its rarity and high price. I got lucky when I ended up getting it for around $30...I still can't believe it.

Anyways, most of what I listed can be bought off of eBay for under $20 cart-only. Only exceptions are Boktai 2, Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 2, and Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation, which all go for closer to the $30 they were released at, though since they're all sequels, you sometimes might get deals if you buy both games at once.

As for Amazon, I wouldn't buy anything more from them used, since you can't see a picture of what you're buying when you buy from there. You can request pictures from the sellers, though, which I highly recommend doing if you do stick with Amazon. If you shop from eBay, look closely at the picture to make sure it's not fake (all GBA cartridges should look the same with very few exceptions like Drilldozer and Boktai). Don't buy from people who won't show the cart unless it's brand new. Also avoid people who don't allow returns. And don't buy from China. Ever.

You should be okay for Boktai, it has a unique cart that I highly doubt could be reproduced. If it looks like a regular GBA cartridge, contact the seller immediately.

I didn't bother to check his country - following the link will pretty much explain what I meant by posting it, and if he wanted to he could find the US site himself.

You should've just said "shop on eBay". It'd be simpler, and you wouldn't have stretched the page. Plus, He might not have known it was a UK website, or at least might've trusted you enough to think it was okay for US citizens to use, when I'm pretty sure most don't send their stuff across the pond. If he had to ask the question, it means he doesn't know the answer. You're responding as if he already knows the answer.

I don't consider Mario Kart Super Circuit an essential GBA game (especially not now) but maybe you'd go for it.

Side note: I wanted to get Pokemon Gold, but somebody already snatched both Blue and Gold from the store I always go to.

probably not. The extra content is at least largely in the remakes anyway and there is much more to the game and is probably better in every conceivable way.

Non-binary, demiguy, making LPs, still alive

Should I get a physical copy of a Zelda Oracle game or wait impatiently for the hopeful, eventual download?
