Hi everyone, new here and new to collecting.... Me and my girlfriend wanna play some GB Color and GBA games together, but I am having trouble sourcing
A: whats good and
B: which needs two carts or is able to share off one cart!

I have Mario Kart for GBA, which is fun but would like something new.
If anyone can put me onto a good list somewhere or just wanna give a few shout outs to games you think would be worth finding and playing please let me know.

P.S. just got Metal Gear Solid for the GB Color man I wish I had two copies... This game is great and I wanna hunt her down so bad! LOL

Some of Mario Odyssey is seriously giving heart palpitations.... that plumber is trying to kill me!

Sonic Advance 2 and 3 (Race against each other can't remember if one cart option is possible though)
Any of the Super Mario Advance games (two player Mario bros best version in my opinion)
Link to the Past (Four swords great co-op fun though everyone needs a copy)

Edit: Sonic Advance 3 allows single cart just checked, Mario Golf is also good, F-Zero GP Legend, Super Monkey Ball, Dragon Ball Advance Adventure.

@Jazzer94 Sweet thanks man.
Got Sonic Advance 2 the other day no cart sharing option... Just have to keep my eyes open for another copy. Got the first too but not Sonic 3... dammit why is that the one we seek! LOL
Got the Mario Advance (MA) and MA 3 Yoshis Island haven't tried either as 2-player yet... if both offer it.

Yeah I want Mario Golf defo! Never really put much thought into F-Zero GP although I always see it available so might try it... Super Monkey Ball cool, but is it any good on handheld?
Dragon Ball now we talking... is it a fighter or adventure/RPG game? I would prefer fighter but GF would probs prefer RPG type thing. I am not the biggest RPG fan but will endure... HAHA

GBA was the first console to support single-cart Game Link (so all GBC multiplayer games require multiple copies).
Also, games that have a single-cart link mode usually have a multi-cart link option. The single-cart link is usually offers inferior gameplay, due to the fact that the multiplayer game has to be transferred to the other consoles and has to fit the entire game in the console's 256K? RAM, whereas multi-cart only needs to transfer the other player's stats and can read the game code from entire cart (range from 4 to 32 MB).

@Filth_Element Super Monkey Ball is a good game but fairly challenging the controls are good (analogue sticks in console versions are superior) though the multiplayer is multicart but playing the minigames are fun.
Dragon Ball Advance Adventure is an sort of action platformer but has 1 vs 1 fighter moments for World Tournament sections in the game (I've never tried the multiplayer myself though).

Ah right... Sweet, cheers King! Thats really good info, so what I should be doing as a general rule of thumb is stick to the multi-cart games for better game play! Nice one appreciate that! Although it does make the whole business much more expensive...LOL
