Topic: Games you would've gotten that you're glad you never did

I wish I could remember off the top of my head, but I won't hide the fact I used to be into emulation a lot, and I would gladly try out a game I was wanting to buy to make sure it was good before going to the store for a good 30-60min (on handhelds, system emulation never was in parity with the active one on the market.) I can safely say I've saved a lot of money on a lot of bad games marketed by lying jackoffs who get paid to write up 8-10/10 level point reviews fluffing up a turd in a nice box. But, also there are a good many games I did think that would suck I did end up running out to buy being surprised and truly enjoying myself so things do have some balance to it. I just specifically remember doing this for the GB, GBC, and the GBA, rarely if ever the DS as the programs for that suck and I'm not into those 'other methods' that are discussion taboo around here.

I had $60 bucks in my hand in the summer of '98 and I had to make a choice: Banjo Kazooie or NBA Courtside with Kobe Bryant. I'm sure glad I went with Banjo. I played that game to death and think it's top three on the N64. Sports games become obselete as soon as the season is over.

I bought NBA Courtside the other day for $1 lol. I would have hated to pay 60 for it back in the day.
