NES
Donkey Kong Jr. Math- I would've gotten this in grade school, but would've sold it once I got to middle school
Yoshi and Yoshi's Cookie- I'd have gotten them since they're Yoshi, but would've been incredibly disappointed
Tale Spin- it's Tale Spin, but the controls suck

GAME BOY
Link's Awakening- I got the remake instead
Donkey Kong Land- would've sold it once I got Donkey Kong Country GBA
Tetris- would've sold it for something better like Tetris Worlds or Tetris DS

SNES
Mario is Missing and Mario's Time Machine- I might've liked the educational value, but it would've gotten old after awhile

GAMEBOY COLOR
Super Mario Bros. DX- I would've sold it once I got Super Mario Bros. CNS

GAMECUBE
Donkey Kong bongo series- would've gotten tiresome after awhile
Twilight Princess- I would've missed out on the motion controls, and I never really noticed Link was lefthanded (and don't really care).

None of them that I can think of...oh wait! I would've gotten Twilight Princess for the Wii, despite having the Gamecube version. Then I rented the Wii version and discovered that it was just a lame waggle-fest, so much so that I broke my controller just playing the game. I wasn't even swinging that hard. Gah, I'm glad I didn't waste $50.

lol, how the heck did you manage breaking your controller during TP? did you drop it on accident after a bad wrist spasm or something? :3

I was going to ask for The Conduit for Christmas, but I didn't, and when I rented it, I only played it once.

No, that's the weird thing. I just got through the first dungeon, and by the end of it the buttons didn't work anymore. I guess I squeezed them too hard while I was waggling? I really don't know.

If I just heard a FPS game was being built from the ground up and was hyped to be the best thing on the Wii, I would've purchased The Conduit.

All my internet time paid off.

I remember really wanting Sonic Heroes, but never did get it. Until a couple years later I got it for $20 because I remember really wanting it. It wasn't even worth $20

Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops and Kirby's Amazing Mirror. One game was too focused on mulitplayer, while the other was too complex. Which one though?

This.
Also, Metroid Prime 2 - I'm glad I waited until Metroid Prime Trilogy to play through it.

...neither. You're thinking of Portable Ops +, and a game that isn't Kirby.

Back in 96 or so I saw Alone in the Dark: One Eyed Jack's Revenge for the PS1 at Toys R Us for 19 bucks. I was debating on getting that or something else, but I eventually settled on the other game and didn't get AitD. It was one of those decisions were I wondered if I made the right choice for a long time. A few months ago I found and bought AitD for 5 bucks at Half Price Books, and boy am I glad I didn't pay 20 for it back in the day. Awful game lol.

Is the gamecube version better than the Wii version of TP?? I havent played either of them cause I had a backlog of games but now I am thinking of picking it up.

Now back to the subject the only game I wanted but didnt have the money for at the time and I am glad that I didnt buy it was Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventure an MMORPG for the PC. A few of my friends bought it and they were so disappointed at the game and were mad that they spent the 50 bucks on it.

I tend to have that problem more with PC games than console games cause I can rent console games and even if I dont like them I can trade them in to Gamestop or some place like that. Can't do that with a PC game.
